MRS. OLIVE LEETH
Paulding - Mrs. Olive Leeth, 58, of Rt. 2, Paulding, died at 10:15 a. m. Friday in Paulding County Hospital where she was a patient six weeks
Born Oct. 3, 1911, in Paulding County, she was the daughter of Thomas and Cora Price. She was a member of the Haviland Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Lafie: a daughter, Mrs. Donald (Olive) Lee of Rt. 2, Paulding: a son, Lafie L. of Bluffton, Ind: fourt sisters, Mrs. Alma Thomas of Van Wert, Mrs. Nellie Minning of Hicksville, Mrs. Della Westfall of Archbold, and Mrs. Anna Grimes of Paulding: five brothers, Frank, Thomas and Wayne, all of Paulding: Arthur of Cecil and Jesse of Edgerton, and 10 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p. m. Monday at the Haviland Baptist Church with the Rev. E. L. Krick officiating. Burial will be in Wiltsie Cemetery in Payne.
Friends may call at the Crowell-DenHerder Funeral Home after 7:30 p. m. today.

OSSIAN, inc. -- Lafie L. Leeth, 67, Ossian, died Saturday, May 31, 1997, at Ossian Health Care.
—He was born July 28, 1929, in New Haven, Ind, the of Lafayette and Olive (Price) Leeth. In 1950, he married Gladys Mankey, who died in 1989. He was a licensed journeyman electrician at Franklin Electric for 43 years, retiring in 1994, and attended St. Luke's United Church of Christ.
—Surviving are two sons, Michael of Markle, Ind. And Terry of Bluffton, Ind., six daughters, Mrs. Stephen (Cynthia) Kosinski of East Hampton, Conn., Mrs. Norman (Karen) Bailey of Geneva, Mrs. Allen (Elaine) Newcomb of Colorado Springs, Colo., Mrs. Loren (Julie) Jackson of Fort Wayne, and Mrs. David (Jennifer) Meadows and Vickie Leeth, both of Bluffton; a sister, Mrs. Donald (Olive) Lee, Paulding; and 15 grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
—Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, June 4, in St. Luke's United Church of Christ with Rev. Jerry Flueckinger officiating. Burial will be in St. Luke's Cemetery. Visitation is from noon until 9 p.m. Today at Goodwin Memorial Chapel, Bluffton, and an hour prior to services at the church.

On November 26, 1972 he married Barbara E. Grindstaff, who survives. He was employed for 37 years by Spartech Plastics, Paulding. He was a member of the former Haviland Baptist Church. He loved spending time with his grandchildren, woodworking, playing corn hole, and listening to music. He coached Pee Wee League, enjoyed playing softball, drag racing, hunting, and fishing and was an avid John Deere collector. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Lee, Briceton; his father, Donald W. Lee, Briceton; children: Angela Gamble, Ottoville, Wayne A (Mariam) Lee Jr., Chesapeake, VA., and Isaac (Denise) Lee, Briceton; 10 grandchildren: Chelsea, Olivia, Faith, Grace, Tricia, Monica, Wayne III, Jaylynn, Brookelynn and Mason; 2 sisters, Rose (Keith) Wilhelm, Broughton, and Brenda (Bill) Reichard, Paulding; and many cousins and friends.
