    OBITUARY
    Mrs. Erma Williams Dies at Elm Grove At The Age Of 81

    Mrs. Erma Rebecca Williams, 81, of near Elm Grove died at the residence at 11 P.M., April 4th after an extended illness. She was the widow of Alva Williams, who preceded her in death in August, 1932. Born in Pike County on October 23, 1874, she was a daughter of Andrew and Susan Leeth Reeves. She is survived by two sons, Arnold Williams and Dwight McCoy, both of Idaho; two daughters, Mrs. Roxie McAllister, of Piketon, Route 2 and Mrs. Ruth Shanks of Canal Winchester; five grandchildren and five great grandchildren; a brother, G. L. Reeves, of Idaho and a sister, Mrs. Edward Legg, of Latham. Funeral services were held at 2 P. M. Saturday at the Smith Hill Chapel Church with Rev. Fred Dunn officiating. Burial followed in the Smith Hill Cemetery under the direction of the Harold Eagon Funeral Home of Waverly. (News-Watchman, Waverly, Ohio, Tuesday, April 19, 1956)
