John C. Walls
...Funeral services for John C. Walls, 63, of Rt. 7, Chillicothe, were held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Camelin Hill Pleasant Grove Community Church with Rev. Larry Irvin and Rev. Willis Chaney officiating. Burial followed in the Twin Township Cemetery, Bourneville, under the direction of the Smith Funeral Home of Bainbridge.
...Mr. Walls died at 12:30 p.m. Dec. 25 at his home.
...A native of Pike County, he was born on Feb. 19, 1914, a son of James and Laura Crabtree Walls.
...In 1931 he married the former Freda Shoemaker, who survives.
...In addition to his wife, surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Alonzo (Naomi) Johnson of Chillicothe, and Mrs. Harold (Evelyn) Fannin of Canal Winchester; one son, Jimmy Walls of Lancaster; 11 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; three sister, Mrs. Ruby Wipert of Rt. 7, Chillicothe Mrs. Mary Barber of Chillicothe, and Mrs. Emogene Miller of Columbus; one half-sister, Mrs. Dorothy Hutchison of Columbus; and one half-brother, Carl Allen of Columbus.
