They reared five children: Lydia, now Mrs. Arnold, of Dawson County, Nebraska; Herrman G., a farmer of Noble township; Cynthia Jane died in 1881 at the age of twenty-three years; Vilindia, now Mrs. Moneysmith; and William H., of Noble Township.
