Joseph Beck , who was born in 1785 , succeeded his father in the Cascum property , and died 3 November 1871 . He was buried in Loughbrickland Presbyterian Churchyard ( monumental inscription ) , and by his wife , Jane McCullough he had issue three sons : Wiliam , of Scolvan , Dromore , 1818-1901 ; James , who inherited the Cascum property , 1824-1908 ; and John Beck of Cliftonville , Belfast , born 1829 , and died 1916 .The latter was founder and subsequently Managing Director of Edenderry Spinning Co. Ltd , of Belfast , and in his will, dated 27 th May 1916 ,and proved at Belfast Probate Registry on 29 th January 1917, substantial bequests were made to the Irish Presbyterian Church, including the gift of an organ and pulpit to Duncairn Congregation, endowment of £50 per annum to Loughbrickland Church, together with a bequest of £500 to the Rova1 Victoria Hospital, Belfast.
