Announces Engagement
—The engagement and approaching marriage of Miss Marie Yearling, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Conrad Yearling, of Payne, Ohio to Mr. Earl Leeth, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Leeth, Sr., of Pay, Ohio, was announced Easter Sunday at a dinner given for the immediate family at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Yearling.
—The wedding will take placee Saturday, June 29, at St. James' Lutheran church, Payne.
—Miss Yearling has asked as her attendants, Miss Edna Lentz as maid of honor, Miss Beth Shrider and Miss Linda Durre as bridesmades, Miss Margaret Shrider and Miss Carole Durre as junior bridesmaids, and little Misses Jean and Janet Warner as flower girls.
—Mr. Basil Leeth will serve his brother as best man and Messrs. Darrel Dunkle, Gene Leeth and Carl Yearling will seath the guests.
—Miss Yearling is a graduate of Payne high school. She is now employed at The Union State Bank in Payne as bookkeeper and teller.
—Mr. Leeth was discharged from the U. S. Marines in November and is now engaged in farming on his father's farm, northeast of Payne.

Mrs. Conrad Yearling and grandson Mike Yearling spent the past week with her son-in-law and daughter Mr. and Mrs. Earl Leeth, Jr. at their cottage home on Grand Lake Michigan. Mike had been the guest of his cousin Kenny Leeth on Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Yearling and daughter Ann were guests at the Leeth home and in returning home were accompanied by his mother and Mike.

EARL LEETH JR.
Payne--Former resident Earl Leeth Jr., 67 Elkhart, Ind. Died at 9::53 p.m. Sept. 20 in Elkhart General hospital.
He was born Oct. 5, 1920, in Payne, the son of Earl and Ethyl (Mathias) Leeth. In 1946, he married Marie Yearling, who survives. A U.S. Marines veteran of World War II, he was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Elkhart, Elkhart Moose and Flat Rock Lodge No. 580 F&AM of Payne. He was co-owner of Kemco in Elkhart before retiring.
Also surviving are a son, Kenneth, Elkhart; and a sister, Margaret Seavey, Inverness. Fla.
Services were Saturday in St. James Lutheran Church, Rev. Thomas Frey officiated. Burial was in Lehman Cemetery. Visitation was Friday at Slade Funeral Home.
Preferred memorials are to St. James Lutheran Church.

Elkhart—Services for Earl J. Leeth, 67, of 54865 Shoreland West, who died at 9:53 p.m. Tuesday in Elkhart General Hospital, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at St. James Lutheran Church, Payne, Ohio. Burial will be in Lehman Cemetery, Payne. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home and from 4 to 9 p.m. Friday at Salde Funeral Home, Payne Memorial contributions may be made to St. James Lutheran Church or Grace Lutheran Church in Elkhart.

The thirty-fourth annual Yearling reunion was held Sunday August 10th at the Church of God Camp Ground with sixty-eight present.
