	Honor Bride Mrs. Alpha Florea (nee Mary K. Wood), near Wilmington, was honored with a parcel shower given by Mrs. Glenn Setty, recently at the home of the former. After the guests had assembled a short program was given. Maynard Briggs sang a solo, "Love's Old Sweet Song." and an aged aunt of the bride, Mrs. M. C. Bailey gave two delightful readings, "What I Live For: and "Pretty Butterfly." The hostess served a dainty salad luncheon, and much to the surprise of everyone, a card was discovered in one of the sandwiches bearing the announcement of the marriage of Mr. and Mrs. Florea at 10 o'clock that day, in Wilmington. Those present at the shower were: Mrs. Ralph Patton, Mrs. Wendell Hixon, Mrs. Guy Ray, Miss. Opal Ray, Miss Ruby Hesler, Miss Mary Jo Hixon, and Miss Goldie Osborn, of Midland; Mrs Lydia Osborn, Mrs. Fay Clevenger, Mrs. Everett Osborn and daughter, Eunice; Mrs. Paul Conklin and children, Billy and Betty; Miss Nelle Osborn, Mrs. W. S. Wallace, Miss. Mae Wallace, Miss Atha Bailey, Miss Beryl Stairs, of Moscow; Mrs. Amos Windros, Miss Ethel Windross, Mrs. Wendell Crites and daughter, Margorie; Mrs. Herbert Briggs, Misses Audrey and Winnifred Briggs, Mrs. Frank Carey, Miss Maudine Carey, Mr. and Mrs. Jesse A.
