This second marriage was to Rebecca Archer, daughter of Joseph Archer, of Mansfield, Burlington County, N. J. She was born ca. 1778 and died July 1, 1847, at Philadelphia. George and Rebecca (Archer) Thomas had four children: Elizabeth Archer Thomas, born June 30, 1809, died January 6, 1834, married Dillwyn Parrish; Samuel Brown Thomas, born July 2, 1814, died November 30, 1884, unmarried; Joseph Tuley Thomas, born February 27, 1817, died July 1, 1889, married Belinda Jane Mitchell: Martha A. Thomas, born ca. 1820, died February 5, 1855, married Joseph Edward Dixon.
