Amos Crane, farmer; P.O., Pekin; born on the old farm of Judge Crane, Oct. 12, 1821, is a son of Judge Daniel and Elizabeth Crane, whose history is given in sketch of Caleb Crane. Amos was married May 30, 1849, to Emily H., a daughter of Joseph and Amy (Hormel) Evans, he a native of New Jersey and she of Warren County.
