Miss Bertha Lightle
WAVERLY — Miss Bertha Lightle, 71, died at 12:45 p.m. Thursday in Waverly after an illness of four months.
A native of Pike county, she was born May 7, 1878. Two brothers, Manford and Daise, preceded her in death. Miss Lightle was a member of the Leeth Creek Christian Church.
She is survived by one brother, Sherman, of Waverly, Route two.
Service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday from the A. H. Boyer funeral home with the Rev. Chester Jose of Waverly, Route 2, officiating. Burial will be in the Leeth Creek cemetery near Idaho.

MRS. M. A. LIGHTLE
WAVERLY, Ohio — (Times Bureau) —Mrs. Mary Ann Lightle, 88, mother of Sherman Lightle, prominent Peebles township farmer, died at her home near Idaho Wednesday night at 7:30 o'clock, her death being due to infirmities.
Funeral services were held at the late home near Idaho, Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock, and burial was made at the Leeth Creek cemetery. Rev. J. D. Roberts conducted the funeral services. Deceased is survived by two sons, Sherman Lightle of near Waverly and Manford Lightle of near Idaho, and one daughter Bertha Lightle of near Idaho.
