    OBITUARY
    Dolly Ann Curtis Beck
...Was the only child of Samuel and Jennie Curtis. She was Born August 9, 1882, in the house in which she died on May 13, 1928. She had attained to the age of 45 years, 8 months and 24 days.
...She was reared in a Christian home and was led to accept Christ as her Saviour at the age of 14 years, and united with the West Union Christian church, February 15, 1896. Her consistent, devoted life attests the sincerity of the pledges she then made.
...On December 17, 1902, she was married to Frank C. Beck, with whom she has spent many happy years. Two sons were born to them, Ernest, 18 years of age and Homer, 12.
...Dolly was ever a loving, obedient and helpful daughter, and gave her life freely to the service of her parents. Her devotion to her parents was extended likewise to her husband and children, and she gave of her strength as long as it lasted, in loving, willing service
...She was kind and helpful neighbor, always anxious to extend her services to those in need.
...During her sore affliction which has extended over a period of three years, and especially during the intense suffering of the last year, her Bible has been her constant source of comfort and assurance, and she frequently turned to its pages for strength to sustain her in her deep affliction.
...She leaves her aged mother, her heart-broken husband, her two sons, and a great host of other near relatives and friends to mourn her departure, yet we mourn not as those that have no hope.
...Funeral services were held Wednesday morning at the West Union church conducted by Rev. S. M. Woods, who was assisted by Rev. O. P. Furnas. Interment was made in the Wheelock cemetery.

We desire to express our sincere gratitude to the friends and neighbors for their helpful services rendered and their deep sympathies expressed during the time of our forrow. Also to the many friends for the beautiful flowers presented and to the choir for their beautiful music.
