Henry was previously married 12 November 1845 to Mary Myer who did not long survive and left no children. A carpenter, Henry and Rebecca resided south of Frederick in Butler Township., Montgomery County where their children were born and in 1869, moved north to Union Township., Miami County where he farmed near Kessler.
