OBITUARY
Thurs. April 8, 1920. Earl W. Walls, a soldier in the regular army, lies in a hospital at Chillicothe with both legs amputated, while his mother, whom he was coming to see, lies in a new made grave at Morgantown. The mother was Mrs. Jas. E. Walls, and on Friday she died at her home near Morgantown. She was the daughter of Cyric Ponstler, and was about 38 years of age. Her husband, and mother, and nine children survive her. The burial was made in the Gardner Cemtery. ("Obits From the Waverly Papers, Oct 1, 1868 to Dec 31, 1921".
