OBITUARY
COLVIN, Bernice Moore Age 86, of Whittier, CA passed away Friday, Nov. 27, 2009 after a brief illness. She was born April 8, 1923 in Ironton, Ohio to James and Ora Erskine. After graduating from high school, she and her sister moved to Dayton. She was employed by Wright Field and later was an 18 year employee of the Duriron Company. After her marriage to Paul Colvin, they relocated to Whittier, Ca. where she was an employee of United Foam. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Colvin, her sister, Normajean Erskine, and her parents. Survivors include her daughters, Connie Crawford of Whittier, Ca. and Linda Ditmer of Waynesville, OH.; two grandsons Jeffrey Thompson of Milwaukee, WI and Aaron Swafford of Springboro, OH. Graveside services will be conducted Tuesday, Dec. 22nd @ 12:30 p.m. @ Glen Haven Cemetery, 8200 W. National Rd., New Carlisle, OH (Source: Published in the Dayton Daily News on 12/20/2009)
