.....Lindsey and Maude first lived on Ridge Rd., Centerville Boro, Pa.. Lindsey worked on a farm for George Washington Harrison.
.....In 1899 Lindsey and Maude moved to West Pike Run Twp., on the Lemuel Cooper farm where his parents had once lived as tenants in a log house. In 1914 Lindsey purchased the Ailes farm near California, Pa.. He operated a dairy on this farm with his son Edgar until Lindsey's death in 1936. Edgar was unable to purchase the farm from his father's estate due to a dispute with several of his siblings.
