He was born in Ohio Dec. 10, 1903, the son of Burt and Anna Clark Lackey, former Xenia residents. —He was a former Vice president of North Carolina Granite Corp. —Surviving are his widow, Leota, a son, Richard C. Lackey of Atlanta, Ga., a daughter, Nora L. Baxter of Del Mar, Calif., four grandchildren; two sisters, a half-brother and a half-sister. —Services and burial were held Thursday in San Diego.
