Elizabeth Brown married Daniel Hawver/Hauver/Hauber April 6, 1815 in Washington County, Maryland and they had most of their children there. They moved to New Carlisle, Clark County, Ohio around 1836/37 which is the county east of Miami County, Ohio. According to the 1850 census they resided in Bethel, Miami County, Ohio where Elizabeth had an older brother Thomas Brown III, a sister Catherine (Brown) McAfee and possibly other Brown relatives. Then after her husband Daniel died in 1853 she went to live with her daughters. According to the 1880 census she was 83 years old and living with her daughter Rebea and her husband David L. Ginn in Jackson Township, Shelby County, Ohio which is the county just north of Miami County, Ohio
