F. Don and Charlotte (Platt) Benham, natives of Connecticut, parents of Mrs. Benjamin F. Tomb, of Pleasant Township (who was born in 1845), came to Scipio Township in 1838, and in 1840 moved to Tiffin, where Mr. benham was express agent for many years. He was born in 1804, died in 1882; Mrs. Benham was born in 1808, died in 1877.
