MARY STAHLER
WAPAKONETA — Mary Lou Stahler 86, of Wapakoneta, died 6:52 a.m., Fri. May 2, 2014, at the St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima. She was born Feb. 26, 1928, in Van Wert, OH, the daughter of Leo & Rosena (Zotz) Jordan, who preceded her in death. On Sept. 11, 1945, she married Robert Darrell Stahler, who preceded her in death on Feb. 24, 1999.
Survivors include 5 children: Marcia Kay Bledsoe, Toledo, OH, Mike (Susan) Stahler, Wapakoneta, Dave (Brenda) Stahler, Findlay, OH, Jerry (Barb) Stahler, Wapakoneta, Jon (Terry) Stahler, Wapakoneta, 17 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren and 6 great- great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a grandchild, a great grandchild, and 3 siblings: Doris, Ann, and Fred.
Mrs. Stahler had worked for Fishers Cheese and at the Auglaize Acres. She was a member of the Harvest Baptist Church. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, tending to her flowers, but most especially she enjoyed spending time with her family.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m., Wed. at the Harvest Baptist Church, Wapakoneta, Pastor Gary Bragg officiating. Burial will be in the Resthaven Cemetery, near Moulton. The family will receive friends from 4-8 Tues. at the Bayliff & Eley Funeral Home, St. Rt. 501, Wapakoneta, and 1 hr. prior to the service on Wed. at the church. Memorials may be directed to the Harvest Baptist Church. Condolences may be expressed at www.bayliffandeleyfh.com.
