It is presumed that John did not go from Kentucky to Ohio with his father, but believed to have married in Kentucky. He went from Kentucky to Harrison Township, Fayette County, Indiana, where he farmed and operated a water mill. Place of burial uncertain but believed to be near Harrisburg, Fayette County, Indiana. Many descendants in Indiana.
