Mrs. Elsie A. Leeth
Mrs. Elsie Ann Leeth, 60, of 412 N. St., Washington C. H., died at 9:50 p. m. Sunday in Fayette Memorial Hospital, Washington C. H. She previously had resided in Pike and Ross counties, moving to Washington C. H. in 1954.
Mrs. Leeth was born in Pike County on Jan. 15, 1902, the daughter of Ernest and Rhoda Ann Herman. Her husband, Harry Leeth, died in 1955. She was a member of the Morgantown Church of Christ in Christian Union.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Rhoda Gilmore and Miss Janice Leeth, both of Washington C. H., three sons, Ernest, of Greenfield, Norman of near Greenfield, and Howard, of near Washington C. H..; three sisters, Mrs. Wilma Wintersheimer, Mrs. Donna Johnson and Mrs. Ruth Dewey, all of Chillicothe; five brothers, Stephen and Ernest Herman, both of Frankfort, Glenn, Washington C. H., Sigel, Bloomingburg: and Earl, Rainsboro; and 10 grandchildren.
Service will be held at 10 a. m. Wednesday in the Church of Christ in Christian Union in Washington C. H., the Rev. Charles Williams and the Rev. Arthur George officiating. Burial will be in Gardner Cemetery, Pike County. Friends may call at the Gerstner Funeral Home in Washington C. H., after 7 p. m. Monday.
