Revolutionary War Veteran
Born: Aug 9, 1759 - Pennsylvania
Died: May 19, 1846
Service: Drafted June 1776 for 3 months in Capt Peter HARTMAN'S Company, Daniel SHIMER. Was ensign under Col Thomas BULL. Was at the Battle of Brandywine. Served in wagon brigade under William EVANS and was stationed at Valley Forge where he spent the winter hauling forage.
Discharged April 1777.
Proof: Pension R312 - Rejected as pension authorities claimed Colonel Thomas Bull was a Col of the Continental Line and not of the militia in which Aughe served. Later records show Col. Bull to have been of the militia.
