All the above people on this page were Quakers except for the Hormells who were Methodists, and even Henry Hormell, Sr., 1747-1834, had a brother (cousin?) Jacob Hormell back in Pennsylvania who had joined the Quakers.

The later years of Mr. and Mrs. La Fetra were spent with a dau. at Clinton, Ill., where they both d. and were buried: he d. 13 Nov., 1860; she died. 5 July, 1861.
